Tastebuds Catering by Mark is about traditions and food that warms the soul and tempts your tastebuds!

I grew up around food! My parents are both great cooks and much of what I learned was from them. From presentation to serving up large quantities of great tasting food, my parents were the perfect entertainers.

It wasn’t unusual to have friends or neighbors drop over for Saturday brunch at the Brown’s, for it was always an event. Everything you could think of from homemade hot fluffy biscuits with assorted jams and jellies (sometimes homemade), to syrup, honey, grits, bacon, sausage and pancakes or waffles, the list goes on and on. We would sit around the table and laugh, eat and enjoy the culinary delights prepared most often by my mother and me.

At a very young age, I learned that providing delicious food brings people together. It is one of the family traditions I most treasure and want to share with you.
